Terms of Service

Last updated: November 6, 2026. AboveBoard is provided by LONGLINE LABS LLC ("we").

1. What AboveBoard is

AboveBoard gives community associations a public page for their documents. Managers upload documents and decide what's posted. AboveBoard does not track any law, does not say what must be posted, by when, or for whom, and does not provide legal, accounting, insurance, or other professional advice. Posting requirements vary by state and governing documents. You decide what to post.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your Longline Labs account's password safe. The account owner is responsible for who is invited to the team and for activity on the account. You must be authorized to bind the company or association you sign up for.

You sign in with a Longline Labs account, one sign-in for every Longline Labs app, provided by LONGLINE LABS LLC under its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy at account.longlinelabs.com. These terms still govern your use of AboveBoard.

3. What you post

You are responsible for everything you upload and publish: that you have the right to post it, that it's accurate, and that it doesn't expose anything that shouldn't be public, such as personal or financial information about owners. A published public document can be read and copied by anyone. An owners-only document, title included, is protected by one code you hand out. Don't post what you can't afford to have shared.

We may remove or disable content that breaks these terms or the law, or that we're told infringes someone's rights.

4. Availability

We work hard to keep public pages available, but the service may sometimes be unavailable. AboveBoard is a convenience and isn't a substitute for keeping your own copies or for meeting any obligation you have. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a document being unavailable, late, or missing.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

New accounts get a 30-day free trial with no card required. Paid plans are billed per active association, with a minimum of one, monthly or yearly, in advance. The rate per association goes down by range: each range of associations is charged at its own rate, as shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Your whole team is included. Adding an association or restoring an archived one during a billing period is charged right away, prorated. Archiving one takes effect at the next renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. You can cancel anytime; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

6. When an account ends

If a trial ends without a plan or a plan ends, you can't make changes. Public pages stay up, and we keep the account's data, for 30 days so you can subscribe, or download your list of documents and your files. After that, public pages say the association is no longer posting here. We email the owner about 7 days before deletion, then the data and files are permanently deleted.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other customers' data or owners-only documents you aren't entitled to, overload the service, or post malicious files. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

8. Your data

You own what you upload. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can download a list of your documents anytime from Settings.

9. Changes to the service and these terms

We may improve or change AboveBoard over time. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll post the new terms here and tell the account owner at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

10. No warranties

AboveBoard is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, fines, or penalties. Our total liability for any claim about AboveBoard is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to defend and hold LONGLINE LABS LLC harmless from claims by others arising from what you post, your use of AboveBoard, or your breaking these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
